Located right down the street from the Put in Bay ferry drop off area, the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club is committed to promoting all types of boating and aquatic activities on Lake Erie. One ramp is located in downtown Put-in-Bay next to the Jet Express Dock. The other is located in the South Bass Island State Park out past Joe’s Bar. The State Park ramp is wider and has a gentler slope than the downtown ramp. As a bonus, there is also more trailer parking available. Also, if you are planning to trail a boat to Put-in-Bay, you will need to take the Miller Ferry to the island since they are the only ferry to transport vehicles.
