When it comes to food, you will find it all at Put-in-Bay. Visitors rave about the fresh Walleye and Lake Erie Perch and all the exciting live entertainment. Restaurants Located in Put-In-Bay’s Downtown Area

Right next door to the Boardwalk is Topsy Turvey, a neat little diner nestled right on the water. No one has ever said a bad thing about their Cuban Sandwich! Going further down Bayview Ave you will find The Keys.  The Keys is a restaurant that gives off Caribbean vibes and is also right on the water. They have great appetizers and perch tacos.  The Keys is an island favorite and if you are craving some ice cream you can head right next door to Dairy Isle.

Across DeRivera Park on the corner of Hartford and Delaware Ave is the Boathouse Bar & Grille. There, you will find live entertainment accompanied by a menu full of delicious options.  For those who enjoy a margarita every now and then, Margarita on the Rock is the place for you. Right across the street from Margarita on the Rock, you have the Village Bakery where fresh croissants and bagels are made each morning!

Delaware Ave in downtown Put-in-Bay has plenty of restaurants to choose from. Keep in mind that all these restaurants are located within half a mile of each other. Just a quick step away from your hotel or condo you’ll find Mr. Ed’s Bar and Grille. Cameo Pizza is by far the best pizza on the island located inside Mr. Eds Bar and Grille. Don’t like pizza? The meatball sub at Cameos is a good way to go, or head back to the lobby for a $5 footlong at Subway!

Not feeling Pizza? Grab a burger at Mossbacks from their lunch menu or their perch basket. Breakfast at Pasquales Cafe is always a great way to kick start the day located right on the corner of Loraine and Delaware Avenue. Frosty Bar serves great food and delicious breakfast as well.  Mama Maria and the Chicken Patio are two good late-night food options to consider. There are no Italian restaurants currently on the island, but Mama Maria does have a tasty chicken parmesan sandwich.

When you round the corner and head into downtown, you will pass Reel Bar.  Reel bar usually has live music playing inside with fun drinks and good food.  For those who love craft beer and good pizza, look no further than the Put-in-Bay Brewery and Distillery.  Flights of craft beers are priced reasonably, and the summer brews come highly recommended!

If you like Irish Pubs, head to Hooligans.  The Irish pub and eatery broke the Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous pretzel dip back in 2019! Right across the street is the local hangout spot called Tippers who have daily specials and present great food on a consistent basis. Feeling a breakfast crepe? The Forge has you covered.

The Boardwalk is known for its famous lobster bisque.  Give it a try and see for yourself if it lives up to the hype! The Boardwalk features multiple eateries on the lower deck full of outdoor seating. A lot of people often the Alaskan King Crab plate and dip in some melted butter for optimal flavor.  The Boardwalk’s upper deck offers a fine dining experience with great entrees and a great view of the Put-in-Bay harbor.
