The Location and Nearby Neighbors
The location of this cabin can’t be beaten. Far from the hustle and bustle of downtown Put-in-Bay, guests can enjoy a whole host of outdoor activities. South Bass Island State Park is minutes away. There is a public boat launch and dock, a kid’s playground, and a rocky beach.
Axel’s Cafe within the park serves up delicious comfort food. If you are lucky enough to hook perch or walleye from the lake waters, you can easily cook it up in the kitchen at your cabin.
Saunders is a great golf course. One of the best things about it is its close proximity to Joe’s Bar, the self-proclaimed “best dive bar on the planet.” Hang out in the backyard, sipping on brews, and playing game after game of corn hole.
For a more upscale dinner, try Goat Soup and Whiskey or head into downtown Put-in-Bay where the options are endless. Bars, restaurants, and nightlife options await you. Get ready to have the summer of your life!
