There is one attraction on the island of Put-in-Bay Ohio you can’t leave without checking out and that is the Perry’s Victory Visitor Center. This is the only National Park Service monument celebrating peace between the United States, Canada, and Great Britain. The monument is over 352-foot tall and was originally designed to commemorate all who fought for freedom in the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812.
