Carriage House Put-in-Bay Shopping

The Carriage House is the premiere souvenir shop on Put-in-Bay. Perhaps the biggest and certainly one of the most impressive. Over 600 items carrying the Put-in-Bay name are housed in a beautiful green Victorian on Delaware Avenue.

The Carriage House Highlights

Right in the midst of downtown, The Carriage House is the perfect spot to pick up gifts for your loved ones. And also maybe something special for yourself!

They have everything! From shot glasses to trinkets, hats to sweatshirts, the selection is endless. They have a section dedicated to collectables for something extra unique as well as toys, clothing, and other accessories.

Located just down the street from the Jet Express terminal, make The Carriage House your last spot before heading off the island. You may want to bring an extra suitcase to fill up before heading to the mainland.

Downtown Put-in-Bay

The Carriage House sits right next to the iconic Kimberly’s Carousel. Handcrafted in 1917 by Allen Herschell, this beautiful spectacle looks almost the same today. 12 horses are all original, with other whimsical animals with fantastical names including local favorites, “Peachy the Perch.”

There is no end to activities within the confines of downtown Put-in-Bay. Visit Perry’s Victory and Peace Memorial to learn about the War of 1812, spend time in DeRivera Park, and eat and drink to your heart’s content.

Family favorites include the Village Bakery and Cafe, perfect for freshly baked pastries. Pasquale’s serves up some of the best breakfast in town. The Candy Bar sells every different type of candy imaginable and ice cream too!

Once the sun goes down, Put-in-Bay heats up. Delicious dishes are consumed at Hooligans Irish Pub, The Keys, and Chicken Patio. Beer, wine, and cocktails flow freely at favorites like Frosty’s and The Round House. Come spend the summer on Put-in-Bay!
