No Bash On The Bay In 2026, Future Concerts Uncertain
The organizers of Bash On The Bay, Put-in-Bay’s annual country music festival, have announced that there will be no event in 2026. The announcement sidelines one of the island’s marquee annual events, at least for now.
The event, which routinely attracts huge acts from the country music world to perform, is not discontinued permanently, and the organizers are attempting to find a path to throw the event again in 2027.
News Announced In A Facebook Post On Monday
The event’s organizers announced the news in a Facebook post on Monday, mentioning their hopes to move the event to a weekend date, and their difficulties in doing so. They made no guarantees about the event moving forward beyond 2026, except to say that they are still attempting to find a solution to hold the event again in 2027. “We appreciate all the fan support over the past 10 years for the eight shows we have done and look forward to many more,” the statement said.

A Loss For Country Music Fans In The Area
The event had become a bit of a Put-in-Bay tradition, especially following the huge success of the 2019 edition featuring Kid Rock. Fans of the rapper turned country performer flocked from all around the Midwest because he had not performed live in a while, and it elevated the event’s profile in a big way. Other notable years included Pitbull and Luke Bryan, with Pitbull being the sole act in the history of the event that you wouldn’t consider ‘country’, and then Luke Bryan’s night two performance being cancelled by a once-in-a-generation storm at the Bay. Luke Bryan got to make up for it just this past year at the 2025 edition and perform for his Ohio fans.
