Here is a list of island candidates on the ballot for the November 4th election.
Village Council
Four seats are up for grabs on the Put-in-Bay Village Council, and there are four candidates: Phil Hahn, Jeff Koehler, Jake Market and Dave Schafer. Village Councilman Fred Cerny did not choose to run for another four years, and incumbent Village Councilman Bill Sulesky’s petition was not accepted by the Board of Elections because of a minor technicality. Mike Cooper also had his petition denied.
Township Trustee
Three candidates, incumbent Eric Engel, Jon Scarpelli and Brian Cultice, will be on the ballot for two Put-in-Bay Township Trustee seats. Trustee Matt Miller, whose seat needed to be filled, has decided to retire from island politics after many years of service.

School Board
The three incumbents, Karen Goaziou, David Hill and Suzanne Kostura, are not being challenged for their seats on the Put-in-Bay School Board. Theadora Keith-Morris is an incumbent and only candidate for three Middle Bass School Board seats. There are no candidates for the two seats up on the North Bass School Board.
The Issues
There are five island issues on the November ballot: PIBTwp Renewal of 5-year 0.75 mill for Emergency Medical Service; PIB SBI 5-year 0.8 mill for South Bass Parks Maintenance (DeRivera Park); PIB School District 5-year 0.5 mill for Recreation Purposes; North Bass 5-year 3 mills for Refuse Site; and Middle Bass 5-year 3 mills for Road Maintenance.
