Batter Up! June Has Arrived At The Bay!
Happy June everybody. As you can see you will find music every day of the week now on Put in Bay.
If you want to see some fun softball games. Island softball started this week. There are teams from Middle Bass, Kellys Island and even Rattlesnake Island a few teams from Put in Bay. We play every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday evenings. Come cheer on your favorite team. You might even see me pitching and having a good time. I always said I will never grow up.
Put-in-Bay Live Music Schedule 6/5-6/15
I really encourage everybody to see some of the great solo musicians on the island. You have Bob Gatewood, Tobi Lee, Casper, Kyle Smithers, John Solomon, Pat Shepard, Paul Franks, Ray Fogg and Mike Mad Dog Adams. These are just a few of the long-time island entertainers that put on a great show all summer. I have seen all of them play and really enjoy them all. I am going to do my best to stop in and see all of those that I have not mentioned as the year goes on. Many of the solos do not get paid a lot and they depend on tips and applause to feel appreciated. So make sure you check everybody out. I really think that most of them perform just because they want to see everybody have a good time.

My Thoughts For The Week
Time for my thoughts of the week. Over the years I have collect many great thoughts from a lot of people. I then try to take those thoughts and modify them to me and also modify them to the current events. Life is really simple to be happy as long as you have goals and dreams. Maybe everybody should sit down as least once a year and write down there goals for the year. This is not a New years resolution because we know most people break them anyways. I want you to look and more long term goals. Write down those goals and them write what you have to do do achieve those goals. So after you do this I want you to remember these few thoughts
1. When you make these goals I want you to get out of your comfort zone. Really reach for the sky. People will not reach for the sky because they want to have goals that they can reach. Stretch those goals because that is the only way to get ahead.
2. Never give up in reaching your goals and dreams. How many sporting events are decided in the last few minutes of the game. Your goal might seem far away but if you stay the course you can always win and meet your goals.
3. When you are ready to quit, you are closer then you think to succeed. The temptation to quit will be the greatest before you succeed.
4. Take things one day at a time. No matter how tough things get, look at just the task at hand. Not the future. Almost every sports teams have a plan for every inning or quarter. Look at baseball. You do not start your closer in the 5th inning because when you catch up and take the lead who is going to close the game? That is managing the game. You need to manage your goals the same way.
5. The last thing is when you reach that goal or dream really celebrate it. Have a party, take a trip or go out and buy something that always wanted. But step back and enjoy your accomplishment. Then after a week or so sit back and start the process all over again. Move the goal or dream farther on down the track. Or maybe start going on another train. You will be surprised how great your life will be. You will be happier then you can ever imagine.

Food Review: Frosty's Pizza
A quick food review from me. I have maybe mentioned Frostys Pizza before in a post about Pat Shepard playing there on a Saturday afternoon. Well after having Frostys pizza this last weekend I forgot on how cheesy it is and how many toppings the put on a pizza. So do not order extra cheese lol they put enough cheese on every pizza to satisfy everybody. Nothing is better then a frosted mug of beer and a hot pizza on a summer day. So I hope to see everybody on Put in Bay soon. Maybe we can share a pizza together one day.
