Island Club Rentals, one of our top Put-in-Bay lodging picks, will be even better in 2026, as they unveil a six-figure renovation project, with work done on well over 20 homes in the famous vacation rental development.
Known as the best place for large groups to stay, the renovations included completely redone kitchens and bathrooms, cosmetic upgrades and more!
Over Two Dozen Houses Renovated
This amounts to about a third of the Island Club development being remodeled in one offseason. It was a huge job that involved a few employees staying on the island over the winter, and some flights on and off the island as well.
The final result is a new-look Island Club. If you’re one of the many repeat guests that stay there, your regular house might not look anything like it used to!

The Island Club is perfect for large groups. They’ve got three decades of experience as hosts of bachelor and bachelorette parties, family outings and even corporate retreats.
There aren’t too many options on the island to get a big group all under one roof, and none we recommend more than the Island Club.
See It For Yourself In 2026!
Now is the time to get a reservation in, and when you do, ask to stay in one of the freshly-renovated houses! The Island Club’s Spring Fling party makes for a great early-season occasion, and of course a summer weekend at the Bay with family and friends is always an option.
