Fundraising For Fireworks
Fundraising for the annual BOOM ON THE BAY fireworks display on Monday, July 4th is underway. The cost of this year’s show is much higher than previous years and we need your help to make this show even better than last year’s! Donations of $100 or more will get your name or business name listed on the fireworks posters and the full page spread in the Put-in-Bay Gazette. You can mail checks to Put-in-Bay Community Fireworks Fund, PO Box 853, Put-in-Bay OH 43456 or see Brian Cultice or Ty Winchester. They would like to thank the PIB community in advance for helping to make this event a success every year!.

If you’re into island history, there’s an Ohio Bell feature film about Milton “Milt” Hershberger and his small fleet of Ford Tri-Motor airplanes that made up Island Airlines more than a half century ago. There are loads of island scenes. You can find it at https://digital.hagley.org/FILM_2019227_FC041.
