Pyrate Fest: June 26-28

A grand Put-in-Bay tradition spanning over a decade, Pyrate Fest is one of the biggest weekends on the Put-in-Bay calendar. Organized events include a pub crawl, a “pirate encampment”, kids activities in DeRivera Park, magic, stage fighting workshops, black powder demonstrations and more.

And of course the grandest part of this weekend’s appeal is dressing up like a pirate and knocking back some rum with the mateys! It’s a kid-friendly weekend during the day, but a huge party weekend at night.

The Benson Ford Ship House will be opening its doors to the public twice in 2026, and the first opportunity to tour this iconic Put-in-Bay landmark is on June 14th. We’ve been hosting this tour for a few years now, and it’s a simple self-guided tour that people really seem to enjoy. It helps that the Ship House is one of America’s most unique homes!

Of all the things happening at Put-in-Bay in June, the most important one doesn’t have a calendar date attached to it. It’s heating up!
